The Start-up Costs for a Lasertech Business in Spain: Two options
There are two business packages for sale in Spain. You will need to decide which suits you.
The Two Franchise Options
Option 1. The Management Franchise in Spain
The Management Franchise option requires an investment of 32,500€. This is a territory with big development potential and we would see you expanding your business to the point you are managing staff.
Initially this franchise can be run by a couple but as the business grows, the territory can support three or four vans. You will
need management skills to grow and run this territory.
Option 2. The Operator Franchise in Spain
The Operator Franchise requires an investment of 14,500€. This area is suited to a single person or a couple and
there is no requirement to take on additional staff and vans. This would suit applicants that do not
want the responsibility or do not have the funds to take on a large Management Territory.
Other Considerations
Working Capital
Although we make available credit terms, an additional amount of working capital will also be required. Working capital is the amount of money you need to keep in your bank
account to cover off bills as they come in and allow for monies due for you.
Working from home to keep costs down in Spain
A breakdown of the Franchise Package will be supplied to qualified applicants. A key factor in the success of the Lasertech franchise model is its avoidance of shop/office overheads and both business models avoid this. The business can be run from your van and garage, although in the
case of the Management franchise, as the business takes off in the future, you might need to consider a small unit.
The Van in Spain
You will also need to finance a van which we source and sign-write for you. The van costs around 15,500€ and if you will need to ensure you can finance this. If you are moving to Spain and have no residence or financial track record
then it is unlikely we can assist you with finance for a van...you would need to ensure you have sufficient funds (maybe by obtaining a personal loan in the UK) or by using cash. The van is sourced by us, taxed
sign-written with logos and your new phone numbers/e-mail and made ready for use at the end of the training period.
Sales Tax (IVA - VAT) in Spain
Spain (like the UK) has a sales tax. VAT is called IVA (except in the Canaries)and needs to be charged on the Franchisee fees mentioned above. You are able to obtain the IVA back from the tax authorities by off-setting it on your sales.
